New Acquia partnership for House of Laudanum

Let's face it. When it comes to online service design and website development, most clients don't want to know about the coding. They simply expect their sites to work seamlessly, be reliable and look fabulous.

At House of Laudanum we deliver all of that. But it's worth considering what's under the hood. Increasingly, it's the Drupal platform – an open-source software.

Drupal's open-source status adds to its cost-effectiveness, but the real strength of this development system is its almost limitless flexibility. There are modules for everything.

So building a site becomes a painless process of clearly specifying the required features, selecting appropriate modules and then writing the remaining modules for proprietary features.

Recently, House of Laudanum has been endorsed by Acquia, the commercial support company for Drupal. Acquia is the fastest growing software company in the US.

As an Acquia partner, we have access to specialised measuring and security tools as well as stable development kits for common requirements. Our clients have the added assurance of Acquia enterprise web hosting when a robust installation is a requirement.

And then there's Drupal Gardens, a new service that can roll out a whole range of sites with separate domain names using the same content core. It's pretty cool.

If you've ever wanted to know how Drupal is implemented in an enterprise setting, why don't you come along to a conference event we're sponsoring.

The Business Day at DrupalCon Sydney 2013 is aimed at leaders, managers, innovation specialists and IT strategists who are considering using the platform. It's on Wednesday February 6 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at Sydney's Coogee Beach.

See you there.
